Fruits of my labours

Went to used book sale, proceeds of which benefit the Chirlden's Hospital.
Most spotted book: Jeffrey Archer's A Twist in the Tail.
Book which made me giggle-snort: LeHaye and Jenkins Tribulation Force.
Book which I nearly bought: Tigana, by Guy Gavriel Kay.
(Why I didn't buy it: I don't actually need both paperback and hardcover.)

Books which I bought, and why:
A Light in the Attic*, by Shel Silversteen: Nursery rhymes for this generation.
His Conquering Sword, by Kate Elliot: because I've been seeing the first in the series everywhere but hadn't picked it up because the second seemed scarce. I now have the second, and am wondering if there is a hole in my logic.
The Farthest Shore, by Ursula K. LeGuin: Because she is Ursula K. Le Guin.
The Moon in Hiding and Child of Saturn, by Theresa Edgerton: The Moon in Hiding because I have one in the series and have been looking for the rest, Child of Saturn because I had forgotten that's the one I already have.

They've Put a Brassiere on the Camel

They've put a brassiere on the camel,
She wasn't dressed proper, you know.
They've put a brassiere on the camel,
So that her humps wouldn't show.
And they're making other respectable plans,
They're even insisting that pigs should wear pants,
They'll dress up the ducks if we give them a chance
Since they've put a brassiere on the camel.

They've put a brassiere on the camel,
They claim she's more decent this way.
They've put a brassiere on the camel,
The camel had nothing to say.
They squeezed her into it, I'll never know how,
They say that she looks more respectable now,
Lord knows what they've got in mind for the cow,
Since they've put a brassiere on the camel.
