Here's the deal. You can request fic from a prompt, or missing scene or one previous/subsequent to one of my stories. But I'm asking you to go out of your way to give feedback you wouldn't otherwise, first.
If you've never sent feedback before, here is a good guide. Look at this as a challenge to yourself. If you've never sent feedback before, a one sentence bit of feedback is a big step. If you generally give a paragraph, a bit more than a sentence would be nice. Obviously, don't flame, but feel free to leave concrit.
Most of us don't send feedback for every single fic we read, fanart we enjoy, and vid we download. We feel bad, but we don't. For us, (because I fit in this category) all you have to do is send feedback to someone who you wouldn't have.
But what if you really do give feedback to every piece of fic or vid you finish? Well, first, you are an exemplary human being, and second, I don't want you to be left out, so please consider sending a bit of feedback to what
thefourthvine calls infrastructure people: "archivists, site designers and hosts, mailing list and community moderators, people who run challenges, people who collect and share useful links, people who provide downloads and pimp kits, etc. Basically, people who create or maintain the machinery that drives and supports fandom."
Who you cannot feedback: Me. This isn't for my ego, this is meant to encourage people to leave feedback they might not have otherwise. Not that I don't love feedback! I adore it! I am a pile of feedback love! But this isn't about me.
All stories will be minimum drabble length (100 words) although knowing me, I'm expecting them to be mostly 400-1000 words. Tell me if you think your feedback deserves a longer fic. I don't want to write anyone a drabble who left an essay. All stories will be posted to my livejournal. I will do my best to write your prompt, but I can't guarantee anything. If I can't write a character you ask for, I'll request a substitute. Promptness not guaranteed. I may halt submissions so that I can do them in order received.
If you want to play, leave me a link to the feedback you left, or, if not on livejournal, the story, (vid, fanart, website, whatever,) itself. I'm not going to be checking up on you, I just want a record. Then give me a prompt or request!
